Video Submission Question
Can you explain in more detail what precisely you are looking for in the video portion of competitors' submissions? Is a basic trailer sufficient or are you looking for a comprehensive demonstration of the game? If the game includes a comprehensive tutorial about how to play the game, should the video also demonstrate how to play the game, or is the tutorial enough?

We are looking for just a trailer. The judges will also have direct access to your app (please remember to tell them *how* to access your app in the "Judging Instructions" field of the submission form), so they will be able to test drive the game for themselves, including the tutorial, as needed. So a complete video walkthrough of the game is not needed.

We have a thirty second trailer that we prepared for the general public and is already available on YouTube. But we are also preparing a more comprehensive trailer that explains in more detail the educational value of the game. Which would you prefer?

I would say that you want something that runs under 10 minutes, very roughly speaking (probably more like 5 minutes). So if you can put something more substantive in that time frame, go for it. If we're talking a 1hr video, I can guarantee that most judges will likely just flip through it, and they won't get out of it, what you put into it.
